Texas Tech lands Arizona State transfer tight end Jalin Conyers

12/10/2023 Texas Tech earned its fifth transfer portal addition of the offseason on Sunday bringing in Arizona State tight end Jalin Conyers. Conyers spent his redshirt freshman season with Oklahoma back in 2020 then transferred to Tempe where he gathered 74 receptions, 846 receiving yards and six touchdowns in three seasons. A large tight end that has shown an uncanny knack to find soft spots, Conyers was a quality receiver for the Sun Devils and will have the chance to mix into the tight end room with Mason Tharp and a fellow portal addition in Garden City C.

C. transfer Alex Lines. Conyers has the ability to line up out wide and in the slot, and was used as a wildcat quarterback at times this season with Arizona State, which could be adopted for special packages with the Red Raiders.

Texas Tech hosted the highly regarded transfer on a visit this weekend in Lubbock and earned his commitment. .
