No. 13 Oregon Ducks and No. 18 Colorado Buffaloes will open 2023 Pac-12 season on ABC
Coach Prime and his Colorado football team are coming to Autzen Stadium next week, and the expected top-25 matchup against Oregon will get marquee treatment.
The No. 13 Ducks (2-0) and No. 18 Buffaloes (2-0) will kickoff at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 23 and the game will be televised by ABC, the Pac-12 announced Monday. It will be the conference opener for both teams.
Oregon, predicted to be a contender for the Pac-12 title, has been performing as expected through two weeks this season. Colorado, with a roster almost completely rebuilt by coach Deion Sanders in his first season, has been one of the surprises of college football so far.
Led by quarterback Shedeur Sanders, who has thrown for 903 yards, six touchdowns and no interceptions this season, the Buffaloes opened with a 45-42 win at then-No. 17 TCU on Sept. 2. They beat longtime rival Nebraska 36-14 last week.
Both teams have one more nonconference game on the schedule.
