Alabama running back Najee Harris is expected to miss the rest of fall camp due to a foot injury. Harris was hurt during the team's scrimmage on Saturday and will likely be sidelined for at least two weeks, Al.com reported, citing sources. One of the nation's top running backs in the Class of 2017, Harris is expected to be available for defending national champion Alabama's season-opening clash versus Louisville on Sept. 1. Harris had a disappointing freshman season for the Crimson Tide, rushing for 370 yards and three touchdowns on 61 carries in 2017. However, he finished the season on a high note by rushing for 64 yards on six carries, including runs of 16, 35 and 11 yards, in the national title game against Georgia. --Texas Christian defensive tackle Ross Blacklock sustained a season-ending Achilles tendon injury in practice, multiple media outlets reported. Per 247Sports.com, Blacklock's suffered the injury during a non-contract drill on Tuesday. A posting on one of the 6-foot-4, 329-pound sophomore's social media accounts showed him at an orthopedist's office. Blacklock registered 27 tackles and two sacks en route to being named the co-Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year along with Oklahoma linebacker Kenneth Murray. With Blacklock out, the Horned Frogs are expected to turn to redshirt freshman Terrell Cooper for additional playing time. --Connecticut running back Donevin O'Reilly will miss the season with a torn ACL, multiple media outlets reported. Huskies coach Randy Edsall told reporters that O'Reilly suffered the injury on a non-contact play in Monday's practice. He will undergo season-ending surgery on Friday. A former walk-on, O'Reilly was recently awarded a scholarship and was in line to be the team's starting running back. "That's the stuff as a coach that it's like, 'Why?'" said Edsall, per the Hartford Courant. "That kid put so much into it, he's worked extremely hard. He was really the No. 1 tailback, and to see him go down, I just feel for him."
