Productive catch-and-go athlete with electric feet and natural burst in/out of his breaks. Above average body control and hand-eye coordination with terrific body adjustments to snare the ball away from his body. Tracks the ball well with excellent focus and soft hands to secure grabs. Sharp routes and hides his intended path. Much tougher than he looks with a strong competitive spirit. Willing and tough-minded blocker. Next level work ethic and pushes himself off the field. Humble and smart. NFL bloodlines as the son of receiver Mike Jones, who was a 6th rounder in the 1983 NFL Draft and played six years in the NFL. Jones is the current offensive coordinator at his alma mater Tennessee State (where he still holds several receiving records) and was the former head coach of the Frankfurt Galaxy (2004-07) of NFL Europe. Extremely productive and consistent resume as the first player in school history to record 50+ catches as a freshman, sophomore, junior and senior ? holds the school?s all-time marks for career catches (248) and receiving yards (3,087).

weaknesses

Marginal size and length with skinny limbs and little growth potential. Lacks elite top-end speed and is quicker than fast. Minimal body strength and won?t break tackles or create after initial contact. Will be pushed around in coverage and too often finds himself re-routed or tied up, throwing off his timing and rhythm. Will have his share of drops with smaller hands and alligator arms over the middle. Room to improve his ball security to avoid fumbles. Played on special teams coverages in college, but doesn?t have any return man experience. Durability concerns due to lack of size and numerous minor injuries over his career, including a bruised shoulder and dislocated clavicle.
