2022: Indoor - Opened his season at the Charlie Thomas Invitational clocking 6.71 in the 60m, making him the twelfth fastest performer in school history... Ran to a 1st place finish at the Don Kirby Open in New Mexico in the 60m with a time of 6.63, making him the No. 3 all time Aggie in the event... Competed at the SEC Championships in the 60m and 200m, finishing seventh and eighth, respectively. Outdoor - Opened his season at the Texas Relays, finishing second in the 100m and 11th as part of the 4x100m team. His wind legal time of 10.14 in the 100m prelims makes him the seventh best performer in school history... Won the 100m and 200m races at the Texas A&M vs. Texas dual meet, clocking 10.12 and 20.20, making him the fourth fastest performer in Texas A&M history...Placed third in the 100m (10.20) at the 44 Farms Team Invitational...Scored two points at the SEC Outdoor Championships finishing seventh in the 100m at 10.25 (0.6w)...Secured the final qualifying spot in the 100m (10.18) at the NCAA West Regional...Earned Honorable Mention recognition after finishing 24th in the 100m (10.48) at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
2021: Indoor - Made his Aggie track debut clocking a 21.34 200m at the Tyson Invitational...Made the SEC Conference indoor travel team. Outdoor - Opened the season winning the Willie Williams Classic 200m with a collegiate personal best time of 20.76...Finished second in the 200m with an all-time personal best time of 20.31 at the Texas Relays, his time made him the 11th best performer in Aggie history, also ran as a member of the 4x100m that finished third at 38.79...Finished second at the Texas vs. Texas A&M dual meet in the 100m at 10.30...Ran an all-conditions personal best 100m time of 10.14 (w/4.9) at the Aggie Invitational, also ran on the 4x100m that clocked 39.23...Earned All-SEC honors as a member of the 4x100m that placed third with a time of 39.08, placed ninth in the 200m finals at 20.92...Competed at the NCAA west regionals, was the third fastest 200m qualifier with a time of 20.40, eighth fastest 100m qualifier at 10.26 and ran on the 4x100m that recorded the fastest qualifying time of 38.93...Became the first male Aggie since 2014 to earn All-America honors in the 100m and 200m, finished 11th in the 100m at a personal best time of 10.22 and placed 14th in the 200m at 20.73. Was also a member of the 4x100m that earned First Team All-America honors finishing seventh at 39.13.
High School: A star at Fort Bend Marshall, Achane was named the 2020 Gatorade Texas Boys Track & Field Athlete of the Year...He led the Buffalos' 4x100m relay to a 40.40 in 2020, which ranked as the nation's fastest time among prep outdoor competitors for the season...The speedster also contributed to the 4x200m and 4x400m relays, which were both ranked second nationally...Individually, he clocked season best times of 10.53 in the 100m dash and 21.57 in the 200m dash, each were within the U.S. Top-25 this spring...As a junior he was the fastest 200-meter runner in the country (20.46), winning the event at the Class 5A state meet outdoors...Achane also ran on the nation's top 4x100m and 4x200m relays that won gold at the state championships and New Balance Nationals Outdoor championships...Personal bests: 100m - 10.53, 200m (indoor) - 23.34, 200m (outdoor) - 20.46
