A three-year letterwinner for the Cougars, Jones was credited with 70 tackles, three interceptions and a pair of sacks as a senior strong safety en route to second-team all-district honors
Had three interceptions, but missed half of his junior season due to injury
Tallied one interception and 12 tackles as a sophomore
Spent first two seasons at cornerback before moving to strong safety in final year
Helped team to a pair of district titles and a bi-district crown
Connally's 2000-01 Sophomore Athlete of the Year
Coached by Doug Wood at the District 17-4A school.
