  • First interception of the season came in the Baylor win, helping Utah continue its rally in a come-from-behind victory.
  • Broke up two passes during the fourth quarter vs. Cal.

2022: Saw action in all 14 games with seven starts, including the last six contests.

  • Twenty-five tackles (1.0 TFL), one forced fumble, one recovery and a team-leading nine pass breakups.
  • Had a career-high three pass breakups vs. Arizona, to go with a season-best three tackles and a fumble recovery.
  • Season-high four stops came in the Pac-12 Championship vs. No. 4 USC.
  • Followed that up with three tackles in the Rose Bowl Game vs. No. 11 Penn State.
  • Forced his first career fumble in the game at No. 12 Oregon.
  • Knocked away two passes during the regular season win over No. 7 USC.

2021: Played in 13 games, making four starts.

  • Twenty-five tackles (3.0 TFL, 0.5 sack) with four pass breakups.
  • Had five tackles at Stanford and against No. 3 Oregon in the regular season, also recording 1.5 TFL and a pass breakup vs. the Cardinal.
  • Recorded three tackles and a pass breakup at USC.
  • Notched a tackle for loss and a pass breakup vs. Colorado.
  • Had another three-stop night at Oregon State.
  • Two tackles in the Pac-12 Championship vs. No. 10 Oregon.

2020: Walked on the team in the fall, playing in four games, seeing action on defense against Washington and Washington State.

  • Recorded his first career interception against Washington, returning it for 73 yards.
  • One tackle against Washington State.

High School: Played quarterback at Beaumont United HS.

  • First-team all-district as a senior.
  • Finished in the top-three in District MVP voting.
  • 854 passing yards and eight touchdowns as a senior, adding 1,049 rushing yards.
  • Led all quarterbacks in 21-6A in rushing his senior year.
  • Dislocated his femur his freshman year and had to spend time in the hospital.

Personal: Son of Chris and Zipporah … has seven siblings … brother, Zach, transferred to Utah as a wide receiver in 2021 ... brother, Xzavier, is a quarterback at University of Arkansas – Pine Bluff.
