Logan Ryan

CB · Rutgers
A high school quarterback and defensive back, Ryan was recruited to play cornerback for Rutgers and after redshirting in 2009, he earned his first start there in 2010 as a freshman. He became a full-time starter in 2011 as a sophomore and emerged as one of the team's top defenders with 14 pass break-ups and three interceptions. Ryan improved on his stats as a junior this past season and ranked top-5 in the nation with 21 passes defended, including a team-best four interceptions. He also finished second on the team in tackles with 94 stops, earning First Team All-Big East Honors. A prospect that has shown steady progression since he stepped foot onto campus, Ryan isn't the biggest or fastest, but he plays with intensity and confidence and has produced big numbers as a starter. While it's more likely he ends up as a day two pick, it's not impossible to think that Ryan could join Devin McCourty as the only defensive backs in Rutgers' history to be drafted in the first round.
