An honorable mention all-state defensive end as a senior

Helped the Orioles compile a three-year record of 25-7, including 9-2 marks in both 2002 and 2003

For career (two-plus seasons), totaled 121 tackles, 19 TFLs, 17 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 2 recovered fumbles, 8 pass deflections and 33 quarterback hurries

Also lettered in basketball (two years) and track and field (four years)

Played in 2005 North-South Shrine Bowl

State qualifier and conference champion in shot put

Set a school record with a toss of 56'1" in 2005
