Listed as one of the Louisiana Top 45 on the SuperPrep All-Southwest team. Honorable mention choice to the Louisiana 5A All-State team. The Baton Rouge Advocate made him an honorable mention choice on its Super Dozen list. Earned first team all-district honors and was an all-city selection. Three-year starter who caught 49 passes for 873 yards and seven touchdowns as a senior. Rushed for 200 yards and three TDs and was responsible for 66 points. Made the Academic All-State squad as a punter. Led Fair Park to district titles in the 4 x 400 and 4 x 200 relays. Second in the district in the long jump and tops in the 200-meter dash. Coached by Husher Calhoun.

Majoring in cellular and molecular biology. A member of the Tulane track and field team in 2005.
