2022: Posted 67 kickoffs with a 62.4 average and 44 touchbacks touchbacks ... Had 77 punts, averaging 45.69 yards per punt, ranking second-best in the NCAA Division II ... Placed 39 punts inside the 20 ... Had 30 punts that went more than 50 yards. As a PK, went 10-for-18 on field goals with a long of 41, as well as 43-of-44 on extra points ... Twice named the national player of the week by D2Football.com and was named first-team all-conference, all-region, and a D2CCA first-team All-American ... Named first-team All-American by Associated Press ... Evans was invited to the Hula Bowl, and was one of only four Division II players chosen for the 2023 East-West Shrine Game.

2019: Booted 56 punts for 2257 yards (40.3 yards per punt) ... Kicked a long punt of 57 yards in Tusculum victory … Hit six punts at Tusculum for 271 yards (45.2) … Had seven punts for 323 yards (46.1) in NCAA playoffs against West Florida … Had 73 kickoffs for 4525 yards (62.0 yards per kickoff) … Recorded 33 touchbacks in 73 attempts … Posted four kickoffs for a season-best 67.5 yard average (with two touchbacks) in Catawba victory.

 

High school: Attended North Surry High ... Played football and ran track ... Set several school kicking records, including for longest made field goal, most career field goals (17) and most career extra points (77) ... Twice named the Western Piedmont 2A Conference Specialist of the Year ... Invited to the state's East–West All-Star Game after graduating, becoming the first North Surry player to participate in the event in 23 years and only the eighth overall.
