Week 10: Paul logged 61 snaps as the Cougars squeaked past Baylor, 25-24. As in Week 9, the big tackle allowed two pressures. He's allowed five in the last three games after not allowing any pressures in the first six of the season. Paul enjoyed one of his better days in run blocking in recent weeks. — JH
Week 9: Though still mostly effective, Paul had perhaps his poorest day of 2023 in pass blocking, allowing to two pressures in Houston's dismal 41-0 loss to Kansas State. Paul played 48 total snaps. For the second week in a row, Paul struggled in his run blocking.
Week 8: In Houston's 31-24 loss to No. 7 Texas, Paul again was stellar in protecting QB Donovan Smith, who threw for 378 yards and a touchdown. Paul did give up his first pressure of the season. The tackle was much less effective in run blocking as Houston managed only 14 yards rushing against the Longhorns.
Week 7: For the sixth straight game to start the season, Paul did not allow a sack or QB pressure in pass protection as Houston edged West Virginia in a shootout, 41-39. He played 59 snaps and had one of his better games in run blocking as the Cougars rushed for 14 yards. — JH
Week 6: DNP — Houston had its bye.
Week 5: Paul logged 78 snaps in Houston's 38-16 loss to Texas Tech. In 48 passing plays, he again did not allow a sack or pressure. — JH
Week 4: Paul logged 77 snaps as the Cougars smashed Sam Houston — poor guy — 38-6. The big tackle had another standout day in pass protection, not allowing a sack or pressure in 48 passing plays. He was, however, called for one penalty, his first of the season. — JH
Week 3: Paul played 63 snaps 46 pass blocking and 17 run blocking, he received a 90.6 pass blocking grade.
Week 2: Paul played 85 snaps 52 pass and 32 run plays. No allowed sack and a awesome player rating at his LT postion of 91.7 percent.
Week 1: Paul played 73 snaps, 42 pass blocking and 31 run plays. No allowed sacks. PaulÅ› player rating is 72.5% at tackle.
