Corey Robinson

OT, DT/OG · South Carolina
After initially splitting time between the offensive and defensive lines over his first two seasons with the Gamecocks, Robinson emerged as the team's starting left tackle in 2012 and never looked back, starting 35 of the next 36 games there. He was overshadowed a bit by All-SEC guard AJ Cann but is a legitimate NFL prospect in his own right, though he isn't one without limitations. Robinson's lack of ideal foot speed and balance as a pass protector mean that he won't be competing for future Pro Bowls at left tackle. He very likely will be moving to the right side or perhaps even to guard in the NFL, in fact. However, his combination of size, strength and surprising athleticism project well to a power-based NFL offense. Potentially available in the middle rounds, Robinson could provide a club impressive value, competing relatively early in his career for a starting role.
